Beginner Canadian Investor in Spain : eupersonalfinance

33 year old Canadian living in Spain. At this point I don’t know if I’ll return to Canada or stay in Spain/Europe forever which makes long term decision making a bit more challenging. I’ve also tried looking for a financial advisor who could help but no luck thus far. I’ve been doing some research and am looking to invest in index funds.

More info about me:

I take home about 1400 euros a month. I send money home every month in order to add $100 CAD every month to my RRSP (Registered Retirement Savings Plan). My RRSP has a little over 10 grand (CAD) saved so far (isn’t much but it’s something for me). At this point I don’t know if I should continue sending money home or if I should start saving/investing here in Spain. While I know this is a forum, there is a lot of experience/expertise on here so I’d like your thoughts on what I should do.

I’m thinking of going with Degiro and investing in:

iShares World UCITS ETF and Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF (USD) Accumulating

I’m still quite new to this and would appreciate any information you care to share. Thanks for your time!
